Power Performance Measuring Method of Wind Turbines Based on Nacelle Anemometer

Abstract
In view of the difficulty in measuring the power performance of wind turbines with no meteorological mast by traditional power performance measuring methods,the nacelle anemometer based power performance measuring method is studied.On the basis of an in-depth analysis of the relationship between the free wind speed and the nacelle wind speed and relying on IEC 61400-12-2 standard,the segmented nacelle transfer function(Binned-NTF)is proposed as the optimal fitting relationship.By using Binned-NTF to correct nacelle wind speed and performing data normalization through the air density calculated,the measured power curve,wind energy utilization factor curve and theoretical annual energy production(AEP)are finally obtained.Application shows that without increasing the cost of wind measuring equipment,this method can be used to verify the power performance of wind turbines with no meteorological mast,thereby timely and effectively protecting the benefits of wind farms.关键词
