Flexible Virtual Governor Model Based on Virtual Synchronous Generator

Abstract
Synchronous generators can stabilize the grid voltage and frequency.The inverters that mimic the characteristics of synchronous generators are also fit for the shunt connection system.A flexible virtual governor model based on the virtual synchronous generator is proposed.It can uniform with the conventional governor in model orders and control logic by establishing the models including the prime mover and servo gear.It can also avoid the disproportional dynamic power sharing among paralleled generators caused by different time constants in governors.The adjustable parameters also provide the flexibility of virtual governor to set its regulation time according to the system requirement.Simulation results verify the correctness of the flexible virtual governor,while the experiments with 10 kW three phase inverters demonstrate the feasibility of the presented control model.关键词
