Abstract

ABSTRACT:Aiming at LCL filter resistance burning accident easily caused by grid-connected resonance of wind farms, a modal analysis method based on element resonance sensitivity was put forward. Grid structure of grid-connected system is weak in remote areas, and its transmission line is usually quite long. Influence of distributed capacitances of long lines should not be ignored. Distributed parameter model of transmission line was established, and its impedance characteristics were analyzed. Then modal analysis method was used to analyze resonance participation factor of every node and every element’s sensitivity of wind farm grid-connected system. Finally, simulation model based on actual parameters of a wind farm was constructed. Compared with measured data, correctness of modal analysis results was verified. By introducing element sensitivity concept, the principle that transmission line length has influence on grid-connected resonance is revealed, and the problems mentioned should be paid much attention to for construction and planning of wind farms.
