Abstract
The 1-Ethoxyethoxyethyl-3-methylimidazolium glycine [ EOEOEmim ] [ Gly ] ionic liquids was syn-thesized by introducing ether bonds on side chain of imidazole cation. ILs structure were confirmed by 1 H NMR and IR. [ EOEOEmim] [ Gly]-impregnated EPS sorbents were synthesized through a well-studied wet impregnation-va-porization method. The performance of CO2 capture were tested under normal temperature and pressure for pure ion-ic liquids and solid adsorbents,respectively. The results showed that,both the saturation time and the capacity of CO2 capture were greatly improved for solid sorbents compared to the pure ionic liquid. The saturation time have decreased significantly,and the capacity of CO2 have increased. Moreover,no obvious loss in adsorption capacity was observed after 5 cycles for [ EOEOEmim] [ Gly]-EPS sorbent. The tests indicated that the amino acid liquid i-onic immobilized into porous resin which contain ether side chains may be a promising candidate for post-combus-tion CO2 capture.关键词
