The Relationship between the Level of Depression,Life Quality and Suicide Risk in Patients with Depression
摘要
Abstract
Objective :To explore the relationship between the level of depression ,quality of life and the risk of sui‐cide in patients with depression .Methods :210 patients with depression in a hospital of Shandong Province were inves‐tigated by general condition questionnaire ,MINI International Neuropsychiatric Interview ,Beck Depression Inventory (BDI)and the Short Form - 36 Health Survey(SF - 36) .Results :① The suicide risk in the severe depression group were higher than that in the mild and moderate depression group(t = 9 .793 ,P < 0 .01) .In the quality of life and in all dimensions ,the severe depression group were lower than the mild and moderate depression group (t = ‐9 .413 ~‐2 .746 ,P < 0 .01) .② Suicide risk was negatively correlated with the level of depression (r = 0 .665 ,P < 0 .01) .Suicide risk was negatively correlated with the quality of life ,physical functioning ,bodily pain ,general health ,vitality ,social functioning and mental health(r = ‐0 .590 ~ ‐0 .420 ,P < 0 .01) .③ The test of mediating effect indicated that quality of life partly mediated the relationship between the level of depression and suicide risk .The mediating effect was 21 .0% . Conclusion :Both the level of depression and quality of life in patients with depression predict suicide risk .Quality of life is an intermediary factor when the level of depression predicted suicide risk .关键词
