Review of volunteered geographic information
摘要
Abstract
To find out the present situation,problems and future development of volunteered geographic information (VGI), this paper studied it carefully.Firstly,this paper introduced the concept of volunteered geographic information and the research background.Then,through the current related articles,this paper summarized and analyzed the research status and the urgent problems of volunteered geographic information.In addition,according to the focuses of VGI,this paper divided current resear-ches into three aspects,which were data acquisition of VGI,data processing and data applications.Besides,this paper still grouping explored the research status,achievements and the insufficient of VGI.Finally,combined with the big data research, this paper prospected the future research directions of volunteered geographic information.The result of the research shows that VGI has become an important branch of GIS,but the theory and methods of VGI data processing and application are still nee-ded to be improved.关键词
