Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical short-term effect of unicompartmental knee arthroplasty ( UKA) in the treatment of single chamber knee osteoarthritis. Methods The clinical data of 26 patients (28 knees) treated by UKA in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis were analyzed retrospectively. HSS score was used to evaluate knee pain and joint activity after surgery, postoperative knee joint force line was measured, the surgical indications and postop-erative effect of the operation was analyzed. Results All the patients were followed up for 3~32 months, 28 knees postoperative weight-bearing medial pain significantly reduced or disappeared, knee flexion was 122° ~ 135° (128.39° ±4.69°), postoperative angle of varus force line was 1.2° ~4.0°(2.51° ±0.10°). The postoperative HSS score was excellent in 24 cases, good in 2, fair in 2. Conclusions UKA in the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee have advantages with less trauma, recovery quickly, symptoms improve significantly, delaying total knee re-placement time, short-term curative effect is better.关键词
