Abstract
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effects of small lateral incision in operative treatment of Gartland type Ⅲhumeral supracondylar fracture in children. Methods 36 patients with Gartland typeⅢhumeral supracondy-lar fracture were treated by operation. Crossing Kirschner wire fixation after assisting reduction ( the finger placing the front of fracture) was performed through small lateral incision. Results A total of 36 patients were followed up from 6 months to 2 years. All fracture were healed. The results were excellent in 30 cases, good in 4,and fair in 2; and the excellent and good rate was 94. 4% according to the Flynn standard. Conclusions The treatment of Gartland typeⅢhumeral supracondylar fracture in children through small lateral incision provides good results,which has min-imal trauma,little blood loss and few complication.关键词
