Identification and Analysis of Bio-pharmaceutical Industry's Core Technology Based on Patent Analysis

Abstract
Purpose/Significance] Identifying bio-pharmaceutical industry’ s core technology and understanding its current situation are essential for deciding the future direction and designing the development plan of the industry. [ Method/Process] Taking the biomedical patents with the filing date during 1985-2010 as a sample, building a comprehensive evaluation system of core patents combined with TOPSIS method and AHP to determine the index weights, 150 bio-pharmaceutical core patents were identified, and their subjects' distribu-tion, technical field distribution and industrialization status were analyzed. [ Result/Conclusion] The analysis shows that the presence of scientific research into the biomedical industry is very limited and the cooperation model is not perfect, the core technologies of bio-phar-maceutical industry focus on the genetic engineering methods, vaccines and diagnostic detection reagents, and original drugs, such as man-natide and Chidamide, have been successfully developed.关键词
