Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of agomelatine combined with cognitive therapy in the treatment of late - life depression. Methods 88 late - life depression patients met the diagnosis of DSM - IV in Tianjin Anding Hospital in April 2014 to April 2015 were randomly divided into two groups:the study group(treated with agomelatine combined with cognitive therapy, n = 45)the and control group(treated with agomelatine only,n = 43). They were treated for 6 weeks. The clinical effect and adverse reactions were assessed with the Hamilton Depression Scale - 24 item( HAMD - 24),Clinical General Impression( CGI)and Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale(TESS)before the treatment and at the end of the 1st ,2nd ,4th ,6th week after treatment,and the therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results At the end of the 2nd week,scores of HAMD - 24 and CGI decreased significantly in both groups(P <0. 01). Therapeutic effect appeared at the end of the 1st week in study group(P < 0. 01). There were significant differences in scores of HAMD - 24 and CGI at the end of the 1st ,2nd ,4th ,6th week between the two groups(P < 0. 01).Scores of HAMD -24 and CGI were significantly lower in study group than control group. There was significant difference in effective rate (91.11% vs. 74.42%,P <0.05),and the scores of TESS at every point had no significant difference between two groups(P > 0. 05).Conclusion Compared with agomelatine monotherapy,which combined with cognitive therapy has advantages with higher effective rate and fast - acting property.关键词
