Abstract
Fertilization is one of the important measures to safeguard national grain high yield but it is found an increasing amount to bring some environmental pollution problems such as water, land. This paper used the econometric model and the empirical analysis to demonstrate the effect of fertilization on the grain production and environment in 1978~2012 in Chongqing City.The results showed that the grain yield per unit area of the fertilizer input marginal benefit declined at an annual rate of 1.5%; environmental cost of fertilizer application increased at an annual rate of 8.40%. There was a strong correlation among grain yield, fertilizer and agricultural chemical fertilizer cost to the environment, namely each one percentage point of agricultural fertilizer increased with 0.11 percentage of grain yield growth and the environmental cost growth 1.63 percentage. Study revealed it was important to use chemical fertilizers and protect an ecological environment in karst mountainous areas.关键词
