摘要

Abstract

Sverdrup basin, located in the Arctic area, northern edge of North American Craton, experienced a full cycle of fore-rift, syn-rift and post-rift sequence and has entered the stage of passive continental margin. There are five tectonic deformation evolution stages, divided into two orogenic-Rift cycle. Sedimentary sequence is Lower Carboniferous syn-rift stratigraphic unit, the Permian-Upper Cretaceous post-rift stratigraphic units and the Cretaceous stepped wedge stratigraphic units. Main source rocks of Sverdrup basin are Triassic Schei Point group marine shale;the main reservoir-seal combination is Lower Permian reef limestone-Lower Permian shale, which can be divided into two petroleum systems and three plays. Using reserves growth model and discovery process model, Sverdrup basin's resources amount increasing of the next 30 years are calculated to be 6040.5 MMboe, forecasting reserves are 15269.87 MMboe, and the total remaining reserves are 24367.08 MMboe.
