Study on Heat-flow Conduction Characteristics of Indirect Air-cooled Radiator and Cooling Tower

Abstract
As ambient winds have a great effect on the cooling performance of indirect air cooling system. Based on the vertical distribution air-cooled system outside 2´ 350 MW indirect air-cooled units, this paper analyzed their heat-flow conduction characteristics with CFD numerical simulation to get the transformation law which the velocity, temperature fields, amount of air and heat exchange went with wind speed under various environments. The results showed that the heat emission of air-cooled radiator and ventilation rate reduced gradually with the increase of environmental air velocity to reach the maximum at wind speed 12 m/s and then the amount of heat-exchange was improved with the increase of environmental wind.关键词
