Mediating Effect of the Elderly Social Support between Introversion-extroversion and Mental Health
摘要
Abstract
This paper is set to explore the mediating effect of the elderly social support between introversion -extroversion and mental health.According to stratified random sampling , a total of 533 the elderly completed EPQ, Social Support Scale and SCL-90.Results:Gender had significant differences in introversion-extroversion and mental health , urban and rural areas had significant differences in introversion-extroversion and mental health , age had significant differences in social support and mental health , living style had signifi-cant differences in social support and mental health , level of education had significant differences in introversion-extroversion , social support and mental health; Social support , mental health and introversion-extroversion had significant correlation , and social support could not only directly affect the elderly mental health , but also was mediating variable between mental health and introversion-extrover-sion, effect size of mediating variable ( ab/c) was 29%.Conclusion:Introversion-extroversion could not only directly promote the elder-ly mental health , but also could promote the elderly mental health by affecting social support .关键词
