Abstract
Objective To explore the efficacy of gamma knife combined with tegafur gimeracil in treatment of locally advanced pancreatic cancer. Methods From September 2012 to September 2014, 62 patients with advanced pancreatic cancer treated in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups, with 31 cases in each group. The control group was given gamma knife radiotherapy, the treatment group was given gamma knife combined with tegafur gimeracil therapy. The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of two groups were observed and compared. Results The alleviation rate and one-year survival rate in treatment group were 90.3% and 64.5% respectively, significantly higher than 64.5%and 38.7%in control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of tumor markers (CA19-9 and CEA) in treatment group were significantly lower than those in control group (P<0.05). The adverse reactions rate and myelosuppression rate in two group had no statistical difference (P>0.05). Conclusions The combined therapy of stereotactic radiotherapy with gamma knife and tegafur gimeracil can effectively and accurately kill local tumor cells, which is worthy of clinical application.关键词
