Abstract
Objective To analyze the application effect and nursing of arterial pulse-indicated continuous cardiac output (PICCO) monitoring on patients with severe heart failure in ICU. Methods From January 2014 to March 2015, thirty-seven patients with severe heart failure treated in ICU of our hospital were selected. All patients were implemented PICCO, and the changes of PICCO indices before and after monitoring were observed, the difference of PICCO indices in different prognosis patients was compared. Results Of 37 patients with severe heart failure, 15 patients died, the mortality was 40.54%. After PICCO monitoring, the CFI and CI significantly increased, the ITBVI and EVLEI significantly decreased, P<0.05. The CFI and CI of survival group and death group had no statistical difference (P>0.05), but the ITBVI and EVLEI of survival group were significantly lower than those of death group (P <0.05). Conclusions PICCO monitoring can reflect the heart function and prognosis of patients with severe heart failure. The nursing of PICCO monitoring should be done well, in order to improve the monitoring effect.关键词
