Abstract
This paper aimed to solve the problems existing in the control of the total cost of low-value medical consumables in the order and inventory process by establishing an economic order quantity model. Based on the usage of low-value consumables in one hospital, this paper analyzed the details of the usage of low-value medical consumables from 2010 to 2012 in the hospital. By selecting and analyzing three kinds of low-value medical consumables that are of higher inventory value and amount as well as of higher average annual consumption, this paper conducted sensitivity analysis of the parameters of model construction through the basic solution provided by the economic order quantity model, which helped control the total cost of low-value medical consumables in the order and inventory process.关键词
