摘要

Abstract

ABA fluoropolyacrylate- polyether block copolymer was synthesized via atom transfer radical po⁃lymerization (ATRP) using fluorine- containing acrylate as monomer and macroinitiator under catalyst system. The structure of copolymers was characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR), nuclear magnetic resonance spec⁃troscopy (1H NMR) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC), and its surface activity was studied. The results showed that, in the absence of an emulsifier, the fluoropolyacrylate- polyether block copolymers could self- emulsified to obtain the stable emulsion with particle size less than 300 nm, and the surface tension of the resulted emulsion reduced to 23.9 mN/m. In addition, dissolving the copolymer into ethyl acetate could sig⁃nificantly reduce the surface tension of the latter. With the hydrophobic segments in the copolymer increasing, the efficiency of reducing surface tension could be improved significantly. When the amount was 0.5%, the surface tension of ethyl acetate solution could be reduced to as low as 19.6 mN/m.
