Abstract
Objective To explore the technique and clinical effects on epicanthoplasty with Z-plasty. Methods To correct the anatomical abnormality of the skin, orbicularis oculi muscle and inner canthal ligament with Z-plasty. Results From May. 2005 to Dec. 2013, patients were treated by Z-plasty.58 cases were followed up for 6 months, among of which one case had scar hyperplasia in inner canthus and two cases had relapsed partially, the rest patients had gotten satisfactory results. Conclusion Z-plasty can fully correct the structural abnormalities of the inner canthus, which should be made with double eyelid plasty simultaneously. Z-plasty is suitable for majority of epicanthoplasty.关键词
