Distant needling was first seen in"Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine","Spiritual Pivot·Guanzhen"said:"There are nine ways of needling, the first is called Shuci. . . , the second is called distant needling, which means to treat the disease in the upper part of the body by nee-dling the acupoints located on the lower". Then it was annotated by physicians over the ages, they usually used it in clinical practice combined with the theories of"manifestation and root cause","root and knot","pathway of qi", and the theories of"sensation and response","meridians with the same name"at the same time, which could achieve significant curative effect, deserves further study and development.关键词
