矮化砧飞龙枳对柠檬树体生长和果实品质的影响
Effect of a Rootstock on Plant Dwarfing and Fruit Quality of Lemon Trees
摘要
Abstract
Plant dwarfing and fruit quality of 3 lemon varieties (i.e.,Eureka,Femminello,and Fino)grafted on Flying Dragon orange (Poncirus trifoliate (L.)Raft var.monstruosa )were compared to those on the control rootstock of P .trifoliata (L.)Raft.The lemon trees grown on the Flying Dragon rootstock were significantly reduced on their size,height,crown width,and step branches as compared to control.All of the experimental mature trees with most scions were no taller than 260 cm.In addition,Flying Dragon appeared to improve the quality of lemons with increased edible portion,total soluble solids,and titratable acids,as well as thinner peels.At the same time,the single fruit weight,size,shape or vitamin C contents of the fruits were not affected by the grafting.关键词
