摘要

Abstract

This paper introduces principles of reactive power compensation. From the point of working state,the reactive power compensation device is divided into three types including mechanical rotary type,static type and composite type. It also discusses control structure principles and application of these three types and summarizes advantages of reactive power compensation device in power system and its latest developments.
