Abstract
Objective:To describe the uncertainty in illness and social support of patients after percutaneous coro-nary intervention(PCI)and probe into the correlation between them.Methods:A total of 68 patients after PCI received the questionnaire survey.The measuring instruments included general situation questionnaire,uncer-tainty in illness scale and social support scale.Results:The total score of uncertainty in illness of patients after PCI was 66.65±13.58 and was at the medium level.The total score of social support was 39.34±8.17 and was at middle level.The uncertainty in illness of the patients was negatively related with their social support(r=-0.46,P<0.01).Conclusion:The level of uncertainty in illness and social support of patients after PCI were at middle level.The uncertainty in illness of patients was negatively related with their social support.Nurses should focus more on the patients’uncertainty in illness after PCI.It suggested that social support should be improved to decrease the uncertainty in illness of patients after PCI.关键词
