Abstract
Objective To understand the prevalence situation of chronic diseases among adult residents and related risk factors in Pengzhou City of Sichuan to provide the reference for formulating and evaluating the prevention and treatment measures of chronic diseases. Methods The multistage stratified cluster sampling method was adopted to randomly extract 600 households from 12 monitoring villages(community) in Pengzhou. Then according to the KISH selection method,1 resident aged 18 years old or more was randomly extracted. The questionnaire ,physical examination and laboratory detection were carried out in survey. Results Totally 575 residents were surveyed,including 191 males and 384 females. The prevalence rates of hypertension,dys-lipidemia,diabetes,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,myocardial infarction,stroke,asthma and malignant tumors in the sur-veyed population were 48.59%,22.30%,12.57%,6.61%,0.35%,0.87%,1.22%and 1.39%respectively. The total smoking rate among the investigated population was 26.26%,moreover male was higher than female with statistical difference (64.40%vs.7.29%,χ2=241.811,P<0.001). The alcohol drinking rate was 24.70%,moreover male was significantly higher than female with statistical difference(56.54%vs. 8.85%,χ2=155.997,P<0.001). The over-weight rate was 35.68%,11.32%in male and 35.79%in female, showing no statistically significant difference between the sexes(P>0.05). The obesity rate was 9.67%,11.32%in female and 6.35%in male,female was higher than male with statistical difference(χ2=3.566,P=0.038). The central obesity rate was 41.74%in total,45.57%in female,which was higher than 34.03%in male,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.506,P<0.005). Conclusion The chronic disease of hypertension,dyslipidemia,diabetes,etc. and their risk factors seriously affect the health of residents,therefore the health behavior education should be actively conducted to prevent the occurrence of chronic diseases.关键词
