摘要

Abstract

To investigate the influence of the direct contact between work roll on the shape control for 4⁃high mill a new accurate work roll edge contact model is established based on the semi⁃infinite roll flattening model the coupled with roll bending model and the strip plastic deformation model.Comparing with the result when roll edge contact is not considered the work roll edge contact force result in that intermediate force increased and the edge drop phenomenon improved.Then based on the new model the effect of different strip width and roll bending force on rolling force edge contact force intermediate force and exit thickness are discussed. It is found that 1 there is a strip width range of work roll kiss 2 the positive roll bending force is useful to improve this phenomenon.
