Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture on the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients undergoing abdominal surgery under the general anesthesia. Methods Forty patients with general an⁃esthesia were divided into acupuncture group and control group randomly. Each group was 20 cases. The control group received routine postoperative treatment, and the acupuncture group was given routine treatment and acu⁃puncture at zusanli (ST36), shangjuxu (ST37), xiajuxu (ST39), hegu (LI4), taichong (LR3). The recovery time of bowel sound and anal exhaust time of the patients in acupuncture group and control group was observed. Results The recovery time of bowel sound is (24.4±3.5) h and the anal exhaust time is (28.8±2.9) h for the patients in acupuncture group. These index were earlier than it of the patients in control group whose anal ex⁃haust time is (31.2 ± 3.9) h and anal exhaust time is (36.8 ± 3.3) h (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of acu⁃puncture on the recovery of gastrointestinal function after open surgery under general anesthesia is significantly.关键词
