Electromagnetic Performance Analysis of a New Stator Partitioned Switched Flux Permanent Magnet Machine
摘要
Abstract
A novel partitioned stator switched flux PM ( PS-SFPM ) machine with separated PMs and armature windings was presented. The proposed machine has two stators, i. e. one stator having the armature windings and another stator having the PMs. By using the finite element analysis, the performances of the proposed machine are analyzed accurately. Compared with the conventional switched flux machine, the proposed machine offers about 33% higher electromagnetic torque under the conditions of reduced PM volume and same machine volume. Besides, the new machine benefits from the removal of trade-off between PM and armature winding space on the stator, allowing more copper and PM volume within the same machine volume to further increase the torque density.关键词
