在新媒体时代，随着科学技术、信息技术以及互联网的不断发展，各种数字资源也在不断增多，由此带来读者的阅读习惯发生了天翻地覆的变化。文章通过阐述科学技术的发展给读者带来的阅读变化、阅读的现状，分析对比现代阅读方式与传统阅读方式的不同，提出了图书馆今后在服务功能设置的新思路。
