Mechanism of Amino Acids Affect Milk Fat Synthesis in Mammary Gland of Dairy Cows

Abstract
Amino acids ( AA) and small peptides are the milk protein precursors ( MPP) regulating the synthe⁃sis of milk fat and milk protein in mammary gland of dairy cows. This paper mainly reviewed the regulation of AA in milk fat synthesis, as well as the mechanism from uptake of the milk fat precursors by the mammary gland, the expression of milk fat relating genes, and the regulation of mammalian target of rapamycin and a⁃denosine monophosphate activated protein kinase signaling pathways, which may provide theory evidence for the mechanism of milk fat synthesis and improve the nutritional quality of milk.关键词
