Optimization method of bones based on fused deposition modeling technology

Abstract
Currently,the FDM(fused deposition modeling)three-dimensional printing system gets extensive application in the medical field.To meet the needs of diversity,accuracy,efficiency of artificial bones manufacturing,this paper put forward a series of schemes on bone molding optimization.Firstly,in order to deal with the defects on surface smoothness after model be-ing processed with uniform thickness layering algorithm of each section,it proposed a smoothing algorithm applying at bounda-ries with varied thickness.Secondly,to ensure the molding quality in local feature regions,this paper presented an adaptive layer scanning speed algorithm based on the perimeter and normal vector.Then it chose a shank bone model as an example. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithms can improve molding quality while it can promote the molding efficien-cy.Thus the results verify the validity of the algorithms.关键词
