摘要
Abstract
Centrifuge tests and numerical simulation method are used to study the stability of embankment of expansive soil strengthened by geogrid and obtain design parameters for different failure modes of the embankment slopes. The research results with different reinforcing programs ( vertical interval 0. 5 m and 1m) show that (1) where the center banking is 10. 9 m with slope ratio 1 ∶ 1. 5, the non reinforced embankment tends to be unstable under natural conditions;(2) when the slope only has shallow failure problem, the stability can be guaranteed by laying 4 meter length and 0. 6~0. 8 meter interval geogrid;(3) when the slope has overall stability problem, only the geogrid is extended or in full length, the stability of the embankment slope can meet the requirement. Geogrid is effective in reinforcing the road embankment and will be used in the practical engineering widely.关键词
