摘要

Abstract

With respect to prevalent such drawbacks in the current train positioning as inability to provide continuous real-time positioning information, low positioning accuracy and excessive trackside equipment, a TDOA-based three-base station wireless train positioning is proposed in the light of the high positioning accuracy and the strong anti-multipath of TDOA. The nonlinear equation on the distance between trains and base stations is established to solve it with Newton iteration method. Simulation results show that this approach can satisfy the demand of train positioning, Newton iteration method has obvious optimization effect on big error positioning point and higher positioning precision compared with the classic CHAN algorithm. Besides, wireless train positioning approach is an effective positioning method to improve operational efficiency, reduce operation cost and provide references for train positioning.
