摘要

Abstract

Design and synthesis ofα,ω-chain end functionalized polyolefins have become one of the hot research topic in recent years.There are some methods for synthesizingα,ω-chain end functionalized polyolefins.The living polymerization generally requires appropriate metal catalyst,the product has narrow molecular weight distribution,and the polymer chain is still active after the monomer consumption.Polymerization can still go on when adding new monomer.It can be usedto prepare block copolymer.Moreover,difunctionalized polyolefins can be got by using terminator.By introuducing trialkylbo-rane in polyhomologation,reactive group terminated polyolefins can be obtained.Successive chemical modification of the chain end group can result in various polyolefins.In addition,chain transfer reaction in the polyolefin polymerization,ring-opening metathesis polymerization,as well as the combination of both methods with “Click” reaction are all the main ways of synthesizing chain end functionalized polyolefins.The polyolefins not only can be used as polymer modifier,but also are starting points for other more complex structures,such as block copolymers,graft copolymers,and more complex polymer brushes.
