摘要

Abstract

Graphene is the first man-made two-dimensional material. The electronic properties of multilay-ered graphene depend sensitively on the stacking order and number of the graphene layers. A twisted angle between graphene layers can be treated as another unique degree of freedom to tune the electronic properties of graphene system. In this paper, we give a review about the structures and electronic properties of twisted bilayer graphene and show the effect of the twisted angle on the electronic structures of graphene bilayer. Many interesting electronic properties, such as low-energy van Hove singularities, Fermi velocity renormalization, flat bands, and electronic local-ization, in twisted bilayers are introduced systematically. We also show how to tune the electronic structures of graphene systems by using a twist. Finally, a summary and perspective of the studies in the twisted bilayer graphene are given.
