摘要

Abstract

Control rod drive mechanism(CRDM)is a important equipment in nuclear reactor.The latch housing of the CRDM is a part of the pressure boundary of the reactor,which is composed of two barrels with different materials(austenitic stainless steel and nickel based alloy)by bi-metallic welding.A sus-pected defect was found in radiographic testing on the bi-metallic weld.Based on the test,this article elab-orated the mechanism and process of the suspected defect.It proved that the suspected defect do nothing with the welding quality.
