摘要

Abstract

Objective To design a Brilliance 16 CT room that meets the national standards in order to effectively protect the staff from the hazard of X ray radiation.Methods Firstly, the wall and ceiling shielding thickness of the room calculated according to the formula should be 4 mm and 3 mm lead equivalent respectively. Then, the wall, ceiling, protection door, observation window and ventilation system structure were respectively designed based on the computed results and the theoretical analysis.Results The Gamma radiation dose rate was monitored in ifve monitoring sites, including the observation window, control gate, room door, waiting area and control room. The maximum average annual effective dose for staff was about 0.0044 mSv, far below the state standard of 20 mSv. ConclusionThe research and design of the Brilliance 16 CT room can effectively protect the staff from the X ray radiation hazard.
