Abstract
ObjectiveTo lead clinicians on proper use of hemostatic and anti-adhesion consumables and reduce the related cost so as to ensure safe, effective and reliable use of the consumables.Methods By analysis of the usage records and charging history from January 2014 to June 2015, the causes for high costs of consumables were found with the help of ifshbone diagram. And management and control measures were formulated.Results Since the pre-quota management and control measures were adopted, the cost for such consumables reduced by 30.2% from July 2015 to December 2015 compared to last year.ConclusionThe enhancement of admission quality, standardization of application process, expense control and management for special departments as well as the pre-warning mechanism can effectively reduce the costs of hemostatic and anti-adhesion consumables.关键词
