摘要

Abstract

Objective:To explore the optimal substrate and the clinical application of modified Hodge test for the detection of KPC type carbapenemases.Methods:102 strains of multi drug resistant strains of enterobacteriaceae bacterium were collected, imipenem,meropenem and ertapenem were used as substrate for modified Hodge test,to screen the phenotype of production of carbapenemases.Results:In 102 strains of enterobacteriaceae bacterium with ertapenem as the optimum detection substrate,the modified Hodge tests of 12 strains were positive.8 strains were carbapenemases for production of serine.4 strains were carbapenemases for production of metal.The results of drug sensitivity test in vitro of 12 strains with positive modified Hodge test showed that all of them were resistant to common antibiotics.Conclusion:The best substrate of modified Hodge test was ertapenem. Phenotypic testing for enterobacteriaceae bacterium with resistant for carbapenem antibiotics can reduce the prevalence of multi drug resistant bacteria,guide clinical rational and effective combination of antibacterial drugs and improve the clinical efficacy.
