Comparative study on the process of medical ethics education in China and western countries

摘要

Abstract

Although China has achieved good results in the development of modern medical education,there is still gap between China and western countries such as Europe and the United States. The gap reflected in the process of medical ethics education can be seen from the following four perspectives:setting system of specialized courses,starting point of education method,professional degree of teaching content,and means of teaching achievement evaluation.This paper compares the similarities and differences in medical ethics education between China and western countries from the four perspectives.Then it points out that we should understand the process of medical ethics education in a structured way,identify roots of the gap and then propose new ideas for the development of China 's medical ethics education.
