摘要

Abstract

Theelectrostatics caused by granule sliding along a metal platewasmeasured directly. Granule material is PVC and the mean particle size is 2.0−5.0 mm. The working-face has two kinds of shapes, triangle and trapezium.The results showthat electrostatics generated increases withthe decrease of thegranule sliding velocity as well as with granular sliding face area. The electrostatics generated reaches saturated state after sliding several times. In the end, the mechanism of the granule sliding velocity and granule shape effect on electrostatics due to frictionisobtained in terms of granule size and shape.
