摘要

Abstract

A new plate breakwaters by the porous Ⅰ-type plate composition is presented to further improve wave dissipation and reduce wave forces of plate open breakwaters.Based on the physical model experiments,the study on wave dissipation and wave force of the new breakwater under the regular waves action.The transmission coefficient,reflection coeffi-cient,dissipation coefficient and wave forces of new breakwater change with wave steepness H/L,relative depth of immersion h/d and relative water depth d/L are discussed.The re-sults show that the transmission coefficient of the new breakwater increase with increased relative depth of immersion h/d,and the transmission coefficient reduces significantly with reduced relative water depth d/L.The vertical stress significantly influence the wave total forces of the breakwater,and the vertical stress greater than the horizontal stress,and the wave forces of the new breakwater increase significantly with increased wave steepness H/L .The new breakwater has good effect on wave absorption,the wave reflection is relative small,and the energy dissipation is relatively large in the experimental parameters.
