摘要

Abstract

In allusion to the problem of external insulation material named HTV of composite insulators be aging with in‐crease of running time under various environment and operation stress conditions ,hardness ,hydrophobicity ,volume resis‐tivity ,surface resistivity and electric strength is respectively measured for shed materials of four running composite insulators and one new insulator as well as thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and scanning electon microscope (SEM) detection is car‐ried out .Experimental results indicate that after long‐term operation ,shed hardness of the composite insulator increases , hydrophobicity and electric strength decreases ,content of surface organic polymer diminishes and content of inorganic resi‐dues relatively increases .In addition ,it is discovered that heat stability of silicone rubber in nitrogen atmosphere is higher than that in air atmosphere .SEM result shows that diameters of holes on the surface of shed having running for about 10 years are mostly less than 5 μm and diameters of holes on the surface of shed running for over 15 years are larger than 10μm.
