摘要

Abstract

Subcarrier allocation is one of the key technologies in the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Passive Optical Network (OFDM-PON),which has been received more and more attentions recently.This paper first introduces two existing subcarrier allocation schemes.Then a novel subcarrier allocation scheme is proposed for upstream transmission in OFDM-PON.The scheme is divided into two parts:modulus operation and patchwork scheme.The scheme can effectively reduce the waste of bandwidth of guard time.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme obtains higher throughput compared to existing schemes.
