Technology Flow Status of Chinese Medicine Industry:Patent Transferˊs Data as Samples

Abstract
Purpose/Significance] This paper clearly shows technology flow status of Chinese medicine industry by parsing transferring data of TCM patents of pharmaceutical companies in order to provide some suggestions for further promoting enterprise technology flows and activating technology market of Chinese medicine industry. [ Method/Process] The paper carries out the research on technology flow status of Chinese medicine industry from five aspects including time evolution, regional patterns, subject relationship, transfer opportunity and technical information of patent transfer. [ Result/Conclusion] We discover that the technology flow status of Chinese medicine indus-try has undergone a jump and mutation in 2003 and 2007 respectively while it tends to sustain a steady state after 2007. The trans-region transfer relationship of China TCM patent as a whole is relatively fragile and severe imbalance exists in metastatic behavior of TCM patent in different provinces and regions. The relationship of technology flows between businesses is highly dispersed and isolated, and the flow status is not active enough, being in the infancy stage of technology flows. We also find the best timing of transfer and the technical infor-mation contained in transfer. Finally, we give suggestions on promoting enterprise technology flows and activating technology market of Chinese medicine industry based on the discussion of these phenomena and problems.关键词
