碱改性活性炭富集低浓度含氧煤层气甲烷的研究
Methane enrichment from low concentration of coal mine methane by alkali-modified activated carbons

Abstract
Alkali modified activated carbons were prepared by treating the activated carbons (AC) with NH 3 and KOH solution, respectively, and characterized by N2 adsorption, acid-base titration and FTIR, and the adsorption breakthrough curves of CH4in low concentration of coal mine methane (CMM) over the modified activated carbons were measured. Results show that with the increase of ammonia or KOH concentration, the micropore volume of the modified activated carbons first increased and then decreased and the total basic radical amounts on the surfaces of activated carbons increased gradually. The activated carbon K-2/AC modified by KOH solution of 2% by mass had the largest micropore volume (0.64mL/g) and more basic radical (1.51mmol/g), which exhibited the largest CH4 adsorption capacity of 7.16mL/g, increasing by 31.4%compared to the AC.关键词
