Enlightenment of Development in China’s Mining Industry Drawn from the Trade Pattern Evolvement of the Global Iron Ore

Abstract
we should take into account the trade pattern of global mining market, as well as its evolution trend if we make efforts to respond to China’s mining development. This paper has discussed the inlfuence of the global iron ore market evolution on China's mining development centering on the issues such as Chinese overseas investment, imported iron ore prices, and mining cost. On the basis of this, this paper argues that on one hand, China’s government should be in an efforts to assess the situation, attach great importance to the long-term agreement for iron ore pricing mechanism, support China's iron ore enterprises, build new industries, and solve the problem of excess production capacity;on the other hand, China’s mining enterprises should focus their efforts on innovating new technology, implementing the strategy of "going global", cutting back production, dissolve excess capacity, promote a new mode of overseas mergers and acquisitions so as to improve the success rate of overseas investment.关键词
