Abstract
Objective:To compare the effects of percutaneous vertebroplasty and conservative treatment for osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures.Method:A total of 86 cases of elderly patients with compression fractures of osteoporotic thoracolumbar from January 2012 to September 2014 in our hospital were selected,according to the treatment plan they were randomly divided into the study group and the control group.The control group was treated with conservative therapy,the study group was treated with percutaneous vertebroplasty.Compared and observed before and after treatment around the edge of vertebral height,Cobb angle and clinical efficacy,VAS score of two groups.Result:Before and after treatment 1,2 months two groups with VAS scores were basically consistent,the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).After 1 week treatment,the study group of patients with VAS scores was significantly lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Before treatment,vertebral height around the edge of two groups were basically consistent,the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment,vertebral height of the study group was significantly better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),two groups of patients with vertebral rear highly were consistent(P>0.05).Before treatment,the two groups of cobb angle were basically consistent,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment,the study group of patients with Cobb angle was significantly lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total clinical efficiency of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Percutaneous vertebroplasty in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures effect is obvious,the prognosis is good,and it is safe and reliable for long-term clinical application.关键词
