Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To probe into the clinical effects of vancomycin intrathecal injection combined with <br> external drainage of lumbar cistern in treatment of intracranial infection .METHODS:108 patients with intracranial infection admitted into Yongcheng People ’s Hospital from Oct.2013 to Dec.2014 were selected to be divided into observation group and control group via the random number table , with 54 cases in each.The control group were treated with vancomycin intrathecal injection alone , while the observation group received vancomycin intrathecal injection combined with external drainage of lumbar cistern .The clinical effects and infection control of two groups were observed .RESULTS: After treatment , the total effective rate of observation group was 98.15%( 53/54 ) , significantly higher than that of control group 75.93%(41/54), with statistical significance (P<0.05).Meanwhile, the intracranial pressure of observation group was ( 120.54 ±19.11 ) mmHg ( 1 mmHg =0.133 kPa ) , significantly lower than that of control group [ ( 176.38 ±23.75 ) mmHg ] , with statistical significance ( P<0.05 ) .Compare the two groups after treatment in patients with cerebrospinal fluid white blood cell count , protein content and glucose content in the aspect ( P<0.05) .CONCLUSIONS:The clinical effects of vancomycin intrathecal injection combined with external drainage of lumbar cistern on patients with intracranial infection are significant , which can improve the clinical efficacy and symptoms of intracranial infection , lower the intracranial pressure and improve the living quality of patients .It is worthy of application and promotion .关键词
