摘要

Abstract

The organic geochemical characteristics of Carboniferous—Permian mud shale in Huainan area were comprehensively studied, by means of systemic sampling, and petroleum geochemical testing methods such as organic carbon analysis, rock pyrolysis analysis, measurement of vitrinite reflectance, identification of maceral in kerogen and kerogen type, and carbon isotope of kerogen analysis. The results show that the average organic carbon mass fraction in mud shale from Taiyuan formation is 2.08%, the average organic carbon mass fraction in mud shale from Shanxi formation is 2.58%, the average organic carbon mass fraction in mud shale from Lower Shihezi formation is 1.07%, the average organic carbon mass fraction in mud shale from Upper Shihezi formation is 0.57%, and the average organic carbon mass fraction in mud shale from Sunjiagou formation is 0.12%. The organic matter type of Carboniferous—Permian mud shale is mainly typeⅡ2. Vitrinite reflectance Ro of mud shale samples from the studied area is all higher than 0.7%, and the maximal rock pyrolysis temperatures of mud shale from Taiyuan formation, Shanxi formation and Lower Shihezi formation are above 435℃, which indicates organic matter in hydrocarbon source rocks mostly achieves mature:high mature stage of evolution. The contrast analysis results suggest Taiyuan formation, Shanxi formation and Lower Shihezi formation of Carboniferous—Permian are favorable formation for shale gas exploration because of their higher organic matter abundance, good hydrocarbon generation potential and relative high thermal evolution degree of organic matter.
