Characterizing of thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity of methane hydrate by free-standing sensor 3ω method

Abstract
Most experiments about gas hydrates were based on time domain. With the development of the free-standing sensors based on 3ω method, the thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity of methane hydrate could be easily measured in frequency domain. Experimental devices for synthesis of methane hydrate under low temperature and high pressure was established and the thermal contact resistance(TCR)was measured. Besides that, the temperature dependence of thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity for methane hydrate was analyzed and the measurement value was compared with the data printed by others. It was found that the TCR had a great effect on measurement data. The values omitting TCR tended to be closer to the true value when the TCR became lower.关键词
